I knew I wanted a dresser in the new kitchen and knew I ideally wanted a vintage / antique one. Getting something bespoke was going to cost far too much and the new ones on the market just didn't have the feel I was after.
After several instagram scrolls I somehow (thank you Instagram.) discovered @valerieperkinslondon

After months (and I mean months of back and forth; and me missing out on a few little gems ~ I'm so slow on big decisions!) Valerie was so patient and when I saw this one I fell in love!
It needed to be a certain size on a rather big wall with storage underneath (for extra crockery, linens and some space for the art box etc!)
It makes me smile everyday ~

A crockery clear-out! We did have a chalkboard wall here when the kitchen was blue - but since the whole space needed brightening, we painted over it.
I've been looking for something that would work in that corner - and found this amazing cupboard. I bought it from @valerieperkinslondon (bought, not an ad!) who not only finds amazing pieces but will also tweak them for you. She painted this pink and added the scallop edge trim too (see stories for how it looked before!) I also bought the bright orange cupboard on my landing from Valerie. Anyway! New cupboard = massive sort out.
